"The BBC will be broadcasting both F1 and MotoGP next season, with F1 certain to be given preference in the event of a clash."

MOTO GP will be very likely relegated to just showing highlights at 11.00 pm

heres a petition to the bbc to have the commentators replaced with the eurosport boys

im gutted as theres no way the bbc are going to show full coverage of motogp, its going to be a very bad move by dorna and i'd bet eurosport ends up with better coverage than bbc by the time starts.can you imagine bbc showing the pre season jerez test like eurosport do. i watch all 3 classes off practice and racing and enjoy the smaller boys more than motogp, guess i'll have to subscribe to al jazeera to watch it now.

its a sad day for gp racing coverage in this country

I'm afraid I agree with Funky ...... I like Stavros and Cox - the Murray and Hunt of bike racing    - and really dislike the boring toned Moody (though must confess to only having had to put up with it a couple of times on progs recorded by a mate) who seems a self-opinionated bore

As for watching all the classes, practice is usually shown on freeview 301 or 302 on Saturday, and raceday is live from around 9.45 until they switch over to the motogp live show on BBC2, then generally continues for another hour back on 301/302 after so all in all about 7 or 8 hours of continuous racing without having to pay a fortune on pay-per-view

I must admit I think it's a shame they've got F1 and MotoGP, as there will inevitably be conflict at which point bikes will allways suffer ..... unless perhaps bikes will go to BBC1 on such occasions :? but I am sure they will keep it live on 301/302 if needs be :D

so the bbc show all the races but never advertise it anywhere ?
is 301/302 available on sky or will i need a freeview box ?

cant say how you can say that cox and parrish are better,in last weeks motogp my dad was laughing as they kept calling the bikes " superbikes " granted they are super bikes but that wasnt what they meant. theyre clowns with no knowledge in my eyes and a lot of others judging by the reactions on other forums this morning.

you mention the clash with formula 1,what about darts, snooker and lawn bowls as motopgp wont take preference over them let alone when the footie season starts again.

the only positive with bbc having it is that its not gone to itv to ruin

I would sugest there is little Parrish doesn't know about racing ...... with far more experience and skill than either Moody or Ryder ..... and Cox provides the entertainment

the additional channels are on BBCi, either by pressing the red button if you interactive, or 301/302 on freeview :D They do use a different commentary team for the BBCi stuff though ......

The bbc do all the moto gp races live now so why will that change in the future?

As for the 125 and 250 race its prob better to wait and see than moan about it now. Lets wait to see what happens.

I cant ride my bike properly today cos its fekkin pissin down. Thats worth a moan I reckon. Then again, instead of moaning I'll watch the donnington gp on BBCi instead.

I havent got sky or pay per view so if it wasnt for the beeb i wouldnt be able to see the racing.

As for F1 I couldnt give a fat rats anus!

ah if you had eurosport you could have watched motogp and 250s qualifying, was very eventful just ask hopper and there was good knowledgable conversation from the 4 commentators.

its going to be intersting to see what happens and i honestly think that eurosport will end up covering it next year,if not motogp at least the smaller boys. dorna only seem interesting in promoting motogp especially with the fact theyre trying to change the smaller prices

but cox is useless
I think he makes a really good commentator, parish has the knowledge, he's got the awesome. Any channel that puts adverts on in the middle of a race can get [Censored] for all i care.

i dont have to pay extra for the BBC either, definatly the way to go. I really hope they keep showing it
i dont have a drinking problem.......if anything, i'm too good at it
