1. Bol 1990 - Mistral, serious incident 2 killed 12 down hence DNF- RC30 - Benney, Redgate and Railton (Russ hit unkown debris at over 150 in dark damaging front wheel on way up or landing).

2. Bol 1992 – Start – finished 6th - ZXR750 with RC30 swing arm – Manley, Bateman and Lindscott (won by TKF dream team of Rymer, Hislop and Fogarty).

3. Bol 1993 – ZXR750 - Manley, Buckmaster and Bennett (standing in for Toland).

4. Bol 1993 – ZXR750 Manley, Buckmaster and Bennett (10o/c that night Buckmaster looses his leg under Armco when hit by factory Suzuki rider Graziarno).

We were in the pits after that incident and saw a rather white Russ :shock:

Can't seem to find many photo's of Phase One at Le Mans for some reason ........ probably an alcohol issue :oops:

Interesting fact is that Terry Rymer never rode for Phaseone !

next year will be Phaseones 25th year in World endurance 8) (my 3rd)

There is a list of riders being compiled that have ridden for Phaseone over the years.(over 200)

Heres a few names:

Oooh, there's a blast from the past - what happened to him :? last time I met him he had an import dealership around the corner from 3X. The bloke was a star ....... did one of the rebuilds and a re-shimming on my old Darmah 8)

Met him at Russ’s fathers funeral at being of last year.

Doing well no longer involved in the Three Legged Cross shop (didn’t want to deal with public).

Is still dealing in bikes but just as a middleman importing from America which he was doing anyway through his shop.

Also was competing in Southern Supermoto championship for fun.
