You're all assuming he wants to get his knee down..

I think it's old bones and joints, a bit more cod liver oil and he'll be able to bend that way... not that he doesn't already...

nice low gear, sticky warm tyres and keep looking ahead of you and keep going round and round the roundabout until it eventually touches down, like pringles once you pop you cant stop 8) 8)

relax and let it happen,if youy try too hard it may never happen

Hang off like a monkey, beat your chest and wave your hand like a babboon. Wait til you come off then you'll have the red arse to match.

Knee down,

Its funny how people still go on about how important or kool it is to do it....I find the older I get, the less I care about getting my knee down, infact I'm quicker round corners keeping my knee in.

Only real benefit I find is decked out on track so you know what angle your at roughly...

Saying that....

Sparky sliders are fun to watch the oncoming traffics look of horror as you create a mini fireworks display.

Wheelies and endos upto/away from traffic lights are still just plain pimp tho as long as its safe to do so

Wheelies are fine if you can land the b*ggers gently. 2 sets of fork seals i have blown now in just over a year

Sliders are cheaper to replace for me

But a pointless exercise on the public highway

Was close today I think. [censored] roundabouts though, gave it a pop on me favourite set of corners :D . Suprising how much faster your corner speed is when you're hanging off so much!

getting yer knee down generally has little to do with cornering and more to do with looking good
just concentrate on smooth cornering keeping an eye on the vanishing point and exit all the time (which most people don't do) trust yer bike and tyres and keep in a gear lower than normal and it'll come sooner or later, or you'll crash one or the other
the best thing to do is try not to use the brakes that then makes you set a corner up rather than barrelling into it and wacking the brakes on and then trying to work out where the corner is going
i generally don't try too hard in roundabouts as the speed is slow and their full or diesel and all sorts of detritas and busy enough for you to look like a total weener if you do drop it
i mostly get my knee down in the garage when i'm servicing the bike :D
