Debating whether I have an issue with my rear wheel bearings at present - spent most of the evening taking the wheel in and out trying different things ....... I seem to have gained a slight "noise" when rotating the wheel by hand since changing the chain & sprockets yesterday .......

Slacken the wheel nut off, noise go's away, tighten it back up, noise comes back

Might be going to get some new bearings rather than go to work in the morning ....... If it weren't for the Le Mans trip, I'd just leave it and see what happens, but 600 miles in France is a different matter ...... :|
Of all the things I have ever lost, I miss my mind the most .....

Well, decided at 3.00 to go and get new rear wheel bearings for peace of mind ....... back home with two new wheel bearings & sprocket carrier bearing at 3.15, wheel out, bearings swapped and wheel back in with no nasty noises any more by 3.50  8)

Tank bag packed with spare T shirts, undercrackers & jeans, waterproofs & camera in rucksack, all ready to go - when are we off :?

Oooh, lock  that's something I'd forgotten

I'm going in textile's too, mainly because of my boot/ankle issue
