Re: I HAVE A BIKE!!!!!!
i have a restrictor kit for a k1/2 sv, you can have that one for cheap if you want.
restrictor kits are a funny business, as making them "official" (ie legal) usually means they have to be fitted and inspected by an approved place, furthermore, I don't think you can transfer the restriction between bikes, so looks ike for it to be legal, you would have to buy one new, which I think is a major ripoff!!!!
Anyway it's something worth looking into, problem is it's going to be diffcult to get an honest answer on it, as everyone these days is out to make £'s

Some people say if you get it restricted then do a Dynorun to prove it's <33BHP thats enough....
FI International, Will charge you £130-150 for the restriction kits (Normally 4 washers) then it HAS to be fitted by an aproved garage (Who will charge an extra £100 if they can get away with it). They also give you a form which is faxed to the FI International HQ for their records... It's not transferrable to another bike but can be to other owners (At a £25 admin charge I think)
It's like Dynojet kits, After the initial R&D is done it costs them pennies to make the kits but still charge SOOOOO much for it.
