Thank god you are not too badly hurt mate, although it still sounds bad enough. Im not surprised you shit yourself, a very lucky escape but must make you really pissed off knowing that the car driver has just carried on.
Good luck with your injuries, take care

What a fcuking c**t....

Wish you a speedy recovery m8, I know the feeling got a scar on my left knee size of a golf ball, I spilt bike on fuel round a roundabout, then bugger me two weeks later car pulled out on me, then he had the cheek to say it was my fault...

I have to say even now I still wear jeans alot on the bike, when I know I shouldn't, but please please any riders out there, don't just wear a jacket, wear something to protect your knees too, as you land on your hands and knees first, and where as your hands have gloves, what do your poor knees have???

One thing I have seen, that looks good if wearing full leathers is too much, is a velcro round knee slider thingie, designed so if your leather's don't take knee sliders, then you can use that to wrap it round, but if you ain't wearing leather bottoms, then something like that could save your knees from taking the heat if you was ever to come off, I'll try to get some and let you know about em with some piccies :D

Thanks alot all, my bike should be up and running again within a month. Its going to be green this time round, might get it done sooner depending on delivery of parts. I have time off to work on bodywork and prep the repairable fairing for re-spray.

Cheers
