Recapping skills

Post by chris6F »

I passed my test a few years ago but didn't actually get a bike.....until now.

I'm thinking it'd be sensible to do some refresher training with an individual or company and wondered if any of you had some recommendations'?? :D

I did the same thing with a two year break, had a half day refresher with 1st class in Plymouth and it was a great confidence booster, plus I thought was better to drop their bike rather than mine! May be a bit far for you to travel but they were honest and straight to the point with me which I found constructive.

Pretty much for anyone to recap, refresh, wanting some constructive riding advice for road riding, I found the Police Bike safe scheme extremely constructive. Think there's a website, not 100% sure but can always google it. The only down side is that it is only done in an area on a particular date.
Good luck with what ever you end up doing/using.
A refresher for all of us is probably a good thing.

Don't care who you are, how much you have, how powerful you are. You still sit on the toilet with your pants around your ankles. Yep, it's a level playing field..
