Abba Super bike stand

Post by dchurch1604 »

Hi,

Has anyone used the Abba super bike stand?

I've been looking around at padock stands but not sure if this would be a better option as seems easier to put on and off on your own with less risk of dropping your bike.

Thanks in advance

I've got one, also got normal stands.

Use both depending on job requirement. Paddock standgets most use though.

If you use the hook method of paddock stands it's pretty easy to use, just takes practice.

I have one for the MV as i obviously can't use my normal paddock stands on it. It does have the advantage you can turn it around to lift the front instead of the rear if you wish.
Horses for courses, but if you have a conventional swingarm you can buy both front & rear paddock stands plus bobbins for the price of an Abba .....

I've got paddock stands, front and rear, they are pretty safe to use as you can get them correctly positioned before you start to lift. I looked at Abba stands before but thought they were pretty expensive for what they are, unless you have a specific need like Moosey.
