Hello from Hayle/Camborne

Post by MaxDec10 »

Hello all,

Just come back to riding after an 8 year hiatus. Being a big v-twin fan and after years of deliberation and longing, I've finally taken the plunge and I'm now the very proud owner of my first Ducati... an 1199s Panigale. She currently sat in the kitchen, next to log burner keeping warm ready for the first dry day of the year. It's looking good for Monday and Tuesday this week so I'll be heading out.

I'd be very keen to hear from guys, or gals that would be interested in sharing transport costs for track days etc - Van hire, fuel, hotel etc.

Any info for regular bike meets would be great too. I'll be swinging by Mac D's on Tuesday eve.

Thanks Max

Hi Max, welcome to Swb.

Dry day? What is that?

There are a fair few Trackday addicts on here so I'm sure you'll fit in, Jay is down Plymouth way and is always looking for an excuse to year out his rubber supply - did that sound wrong?

We have a group heading south for Cartagena in May another lot talking the trip to portimao in Sept.
Between those dates there will be Folk popping all over the country visiting circuits.

Dive on in.

Hi and welcome :) !

I'll be keeping an eye on the weather, might be able to pop down to Hayle on Tuesday evening after work, but I didn't think the meets started until Easter?
Keep an eye on the ride outs section, if I'm out for a blast I usually post it up :D .
Cut me in half and I'v got Suzuki written right through me!

Welcome Max. Won't join you on the track days I suspect but I may see you at Hayle once you can sit around outside without drowning or freezing.

Weather's looking good for tomorrow evening, anyone heading down to Mac D's at Hayle? Should be absolutely baltic but at least the sun is out. I'm lucky owning a big v-twin... It'll roast my nuts even if I was riding her past the south pole. :)
