Wheels

Post by Moley551 »

Does any know a good wheel builder, I had a rear wheel done years ago, they made the spokes and refurbished the hub but I can't remember any details possibly Birmingham area. I fancy getting the KTM rusty junk replaced with stainless.

There used to be a chap in Plymouth, but I know he shut down a year or two back ....

Derek at CMS in Exeter will know someone. Try asking at St Blazey MX or JD Racing in Saltash ....... they'll both deal with spoked wheels, so will probably know someone .....

Found a pretty good looking company in Birmingham, from the price list, it's about £140 plus p&p for stainless butted spokes with nickel plated brass nipples and the build...seems fair.

I've heard good reports about Talon Engineering in Yeovil http://www.talon-eng.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Their hubs and rims are top-end quality so someone there must lace 'em together, probably while you wait if you have to travel.
