welcome to the family....

Post by billinom8s »

Well it would appear there was a quick diagnosis and delivery of a 102 kg bouncing baby yam to our household this week.
she's settled in nicely and is playing well with the old stablemates.

Hopefully will be out to get dirty with some other kids soon.

Nice choice mate. Gimme a shout if you need someone to ride with as my old trail riding mates are out most weekends even though I can't any longer.

I know a fair few legal lanes around here as well if you need any pointers

Cheers for that. Still learning about all this stuff. Will no doubt be venturing out to slide about soon.

The bit i've done in the lanes still confirms I'm slow in the mud but at least I'm not gonna get a speeding ticket. :)):

Good choice, nice bike that.
Shame you're the other side of the river or I could have shown you around.

Can you not ride from one town to another on these nowadays? They must have changed the laws since I went green laning.... Or is it like London cabbies, not wanting to go north/south of the river? 🤣

lol - Riding all the way over to Devon feels like a long way on a trail bike, never mind to the far side of the Exe.

Billie - I could meet you around Crealy and show you some of the area, but then you'd probably want to start at 5.00 am.

Also... and I hate to draw this to your attention, but judging by the dry pattern on the seat I'd suggest that next time you ride the bike you should be wearing trousers.

No point as wouldn't be able to see, plus there's no traffic in the lanes so no need to be out at fun o'clock, I can sleep in until it's raining and muddy.

I'd just brought it in from the driveway after returning from work to find it chained up to the balcony here where the courier (Avit) had kindly secured it. It was a tad damp here Thursday.

lol, ok... but the pattern of the dry patch looks like you might have jumped on with your 2 veg hanging out. :)):

There's plenty of lanes out your way so you'll not be short of areas to ride.
If you feel like venturing over to the east sometime then I can show you around my stomping ground.

There's also talk of a few of us arranging a Wales trip in spring so if you're up to it by then you'd be welcome to come along.
