It's fine and sunny here but it'll be nice and damp in them there Devon lanes for a while yet folks. So tread steady and I'll join the first wave of the SWB invasion force at the metrolops of Hemyock as planned.

Third to ptolemyx for organising the ride and the route.
Forth thanks so much Red5 for leading group 2
Fifth to Billinom8s for leading on the way home.

Also a little sorry to group 2 for my early departure was supposed to be home between 1pm / 2pm and suddenly realising the time and where we were I had to ditch and run and tag on with Billnom8s.

Ta for leading group 2 Nick, I wasn't sure where we were most of the time, a bit like you but you had the satnav. =))

Nice ride back Rob, some old roads from my past today.

Thanks to Brian for leading group 1. My fave bit was the housing estate. Also thanks to those that gave me a push. Looks like it is the battery as plenty of charge coming through. As we pulled up at home the sun came out to play so was able to wash the bikes👍👍

As scheduled Brian and I finished at Smileys for a debrief and cup of tea.
Smileys was shut. We eat our sandwiches waiting for the rest of the crews, gave up at 2pm and went home.
Phil had problems starting his Triumph but he seems to have made it home.
Hope everyone had a good ride. See you next time.

Thanks everybody, had a nice ride plus it's always good to catch up with people.
Special mention to ptolemyx for organising it, Red5 for leading our group & Crusader Sport for TEC duties.

I'm now supping a bottle of Cobra and Claire is in the bath having a soak before she has to go tend to her horse.

Great day thanks to the oldies for herding the rest of group one. The housing estate was just like doing a bike test all over again but without the man stepping out with a newspaper.

Even managed to fit on some PT with pushing Tvrv37s bike. The KFC at gordano was another highlight.

Ptolwymxs rides are just right, fast enough to keep awake but pretty sensible too. Nice one.

Fun day and good to get out. Yeah, a couple minor navigation hiccups but knew it as soon as we'd past the turnings, both times.
Hope you've not been put off Wayne... Gravel'd lanes and a significant ford crossing are unusual. These rides, are not usually so green laning ;;)
Hopefully see guys soon... RTTB next week hopefully :-bd \m/
