I was going on a run to Lulworth tomorrow my first group run, only to see the organiser is now running 30 bikers + and not splitting the groups either, he is under the thinking that on the news groups of 30 are now allowed, not quite the case.
I mentioned this to him only to be told that is not how he interprets it and it’s not a problem. To me I think ‘wrong answer’ and I’ve decided as my first group run that this one is not for me.
From govt website :
only gather outdoors in either a group of up to 6 people from different households or up to two households (including your support bubble)
only gather in slightly larger groups of up to 30 for major life events, such as weddings
not hold or attend celebrations of any size (such as parties) where it is difficult to maintain social distancing
I fear social distancing is about to go out the window with the meet, so I’m out.
I was feeling much better about the meet on here next weekend, better attitude on here with regards to it’s members and the fact it’s forecast to be dry next week, I do t do rain.
So here comes the second FFS, there is no ride out next weekend , it was in fact this morning at some ungodly hour too Lol
Bitchings, now nothing is planned.
Oh well I’m going to turn in the PS4 lol
Bugger it, doh!

You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.
Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Don't care who you are, how much you have, how powerful you are. You still sit on the toilet with your pants around your ankles. Yep, it's a level playing field..
