Thanks Brian. Reconfirmed by email with Neuadd and yes as Ming I would need to do the route a few more times before I knew it. Anyway I can't remember yesterday let alone a year ago. :?

This is a possible ride out route. Takes in Lakes Bala and Vernwy with some mountain passes and some good A roads:-

That's 173 miles, about 4.5 hours riding and lunch, coffee/tea/cake, fuel and Brian's bladder stops would make it a very full day.....

Yup, up for it all.
Re' Brian's bladder buster breaks: can I put a personal request in that, when you decide on one, more than a millisecond notice is given before braking from one gazillion miles per hour to nothing in the space of ten feet. Especially if I'm up yer exhaust pipe. That way I won't then immediately have to use the loo roll I've learned to carry when on a Ptolemyx tag run.

Is the plan to go up Fri morning? I have to work but can be done by 10am so happy to go up in convoy any time after that. If you're going earlier I'll make my own way up later 🤔

Plan 'A' should fit with you then 'cos we're aiming to leave 'somewhere convenient' on Friday 25th around 1200 hrs I think - probably/possibly the service area/BP filling station at M5 junction 27. No doubt Herr P will finalise and confirm details in the fullness of time.

As Phil has let the cat out of the bag, yes my plan is to meet at jcn27 services to leave 12.00 prompt with full tanks of fuel. Drone up the M5 with probabable stop to collect the more northern contingent along the way. Cross over the OLD bridge to Chepstow, Usk valley to Abergavenny for a coffee break and on to the Neuadd.
