You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Sunday 13th Early fast ride

Post by Red5 »

OK, time for an early ride to blow away the cobwebs.
This coming Sunday 13th June.

This will be a genuine progressive ride, leaving Exeter, exact location tbc, at 0630 covering 150miles plus and home by 1130.

Stopping for a coffee and cake/burger en route and fuel stops.
Exact system of drop off or keeping in mirrors tbc but this will a pacey outing.
If unsure, please pm me.

New tyres being fitted tomorrow so I'll need to scrub them in soon. So see you Sunday morning Nick :-bd
Surely, if you're doing a "fast ride" 150 miles will only take 2 hours so home by 08.30
Or will the coffee & cake stop be for 3 hours.....

Meeting point for the morning. Now meeting at 0630, leaving at 0645. Some are unable to get up quite so early :|
We'll meet there, fuel up.

https://goo.gl/maps/vhsVijjJBH1AHRmA9

The Esso garage on Cowley bridge road between St.Davids station and, well, Cwley bridge.

This will be a progressive ride but will be aware of social perceptions through villages etc.
Everyone is to ride with on their own abilities. As ride leader, I am not the fastest guy out there so please don't expect any major hooliganism but more fun and enjoyable when conditions permit.
Will look at system of keeping together in the morning.

Sweet. I’m already fuelled up, so good to go.

Shame about the time being pushed back. I used to leave my house at 0530 during peak summer.

Thinking of exactly that over the next couple of months... is totally the bet time to be out. Home and smug by mid morning while the world gets out with all the crowds :D :-bd
