Yet another new boy

Hi All, joined a while back but have been lurking and keeping an eye on things.

I’m Bob and based near Taunton. Me and the missus moved down here from Surrey three years back, and I’m still learning how best to ride the lanes. The missus stopped riding (Street Triple and GPZ500, both sold), I sold my ZZR600E5 (long distance commuter) and now I have my 950SM left. Pleasure rides only these days, but I need to get back to a higher level of riding confidence. So if you pass a wobbly orange 950SM give me a wide berth!

You'll be fine on the ride on December 5th.

It's not a fast run and the roads are nice and easy. Plus we stick together so there's no need to worry about 'keeping up'.

Sounds good but my Sundays are currently booked up until spring. Saturdays and mid-weekdays are easier for me (retired), so I will keep my eye on what’s announced.

I'll be doing another Thursday ride before Chrimbo. North Devon, Exmoor and West Somerset is the usual patch. Off season rides are less "spirited" so you should be happy to come and meet some of the gang. As you're retired we may inaugurate you as a "greyone" - if you pass the test
