Not a bad thing give the NHS and recovery companies a break from pulling them out of hedges and mending broken bits

Got to say this is really disappointing to see Suzuki not being prepared for this. With so many of their marketing aimed at owning the race track with the GSXR gone from the line up i'm sure several of the other models that use a similar engine spec such as the GSX-S cant be too far behind.

Interesting to read that the 600 and 750 are still getting sold in USA currently I had assumed that they had just stopped making the model.

Yet again we see Suzuki behind the times and needing to catch up and with the market always moving forward it really makes you wonder if the GSXR will be back in 2024 with the Euro 5+ regs met, or if Suzuki will just move in a different direction. This might just explain the withdraw from Moto GP a little more.

I feel all of the little red "S"s starting to leave my blood stream might just be time to change the avatar

Suzuki may well be completely non-existent within a couple of years. They are in a financial mess and will soon be paying out big time for cheating diesel car emissions like VW did.
old and disgraceful so doing what I can while I can before I can't

They'll be alright.
They might just be ahead of the curve with respect to exiting the sportsbike market... nobody wants them anymore.
Sales of supersport bikes almost halved in the UK between 2016 to 2020.

2020 saw just 7,746 new Supersport bikes purchased compared to 31,794 Naked bikes.

If you consider that traditionally the 1000cc Sportsbike was the headline bike for each manufacturer then it doesn't look like a smart investment to keep pumping so much money into developing them as they sell so few units.

How long before the intellectual rights for Suzuki motorcycles are sold to the Chinese or Indian bike industry?

This is a very good point and actually one that i felt personally myself. Being a previous Gixxer K1 600 and K8 1000 rider i got rid of them as they were to quick to ride on the road and you could not have fun on them at sensible speeds. Hence moved to a naked bike which now has everything you ever need and is more then capable for all road riding situations.
