Breakfast meet & rideout - Sunday 12th Feb'.

Post by Robbo87 »

The weather's looking good so who's up for breakfast at Tiverton Wetherspoons this Sunday morning (12th) followed by a rideout, finishing at Bridge M/C's Exeter around 1400 hrs?

Add your names below and if any interest I'll sort a good route out - sorry but it won't really be 125 friendly.
Brief details are:
0930 hrs: Meet for breakfast - Wetherspoons, 8 Bridge Street Tiverton Devon EX16 5LY . .. for anyone who hasn't been before, here's a link to the car park - https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Wes ... 11j84vr70l
1030 hrs-ish: Rideout time!
1400 hrs-ish: Coffee, cake, debrief and tall tales at Bridge.

Well that was an 'interesting' rideout - in a coupla ways eh Roy?
We covered around 120 miles. For info' the route was roughly Tivvy (brekky), Bickleigh, Crediton, Winkleigh, Moretonhampstead, Exeter and home to Ottery and Chard.
The weather was dry, so were the roads, and 'twer a tad chilly in places - as was the 'spoons brekky, which caused (we both think), the 'interesting' bit of the ride to happen later. All well in the end and thanks to Roy for tagging along and keeping me entertained  .

Something like that, possibly, maybe. We can't be certain 'spoons was the source, but probably. Strangely, I wasn't affected even though we both ate and drank exactly the same things. The symptoms hit about an hour after we left Tivvy and got a bit worrying for a while; they eventually eased up enough for Roy to ride home and when I checked later, things were much improved and all is now good I believe.
