Not tonight. If the weather is okay I might be able to get out Saturday afternoon, otherwise too much other stuff on at the mo'. Who said being retired means you get more free time

Ditto, also having a spot of shoulder trouble.
Just deciding if it's actually worth tax'ing the 1190 as the weather is mostly rubbish for the first half this month and then I'm mostly busy for the second half.
So no, not gonna be there tonight I'm afraid.

Nope, now can't make it tonight :( . SW Water have decided the time is right to dig a gert hole at the end of our lane to sort out a water leak. And as the only other way out of the village is to use the local cart tracks up the one in three hills/mountains that abound around here the Trumpet is staying firmly put in it's garage for the next few days.

As far as I'm aware, the last bike night is on Thursday 23rd October, will check next week (16th).
Clocks go back on Sunday 26th October.

I almost got to the meet. #-o

I was on my DRZ that I have been "adventurising" to do longer trips on.

Got to the junction for Seaton from Axminster but decided to pull over to the lay-by to check my phone (I'd received a message) and also give the bike a once over as it seemed to be making a different noise.

Message 1 was from Robbo.
Message 2 was from my chain.

I decided it was probably better to get recovered home and thank my lucky stars it wasn't a worse outcome.
Phoned the RAC and after that went wrong (my fault) a nice man in a van pulled in and offered me lift home, so I took him up on that.

While been taken home I'm pretty sure I saw Brian riding his Busa the other way?
Sorry I didn't make it guys, fingers crossed for next time.
