What I did instead of the ride-out

Well i was supposed to put the bike back togeather so I could try and get to the rideout but instead i had to fix the washing machine.

A pen got through the check point and into the washing process and between the drum and bowl, so i spent 2 hrs stripping the machine.

Glad to read everyone else had fun though

you didn't need an excuse, it was a very sedate drive, you would have been able to keep up
