Datatool Alarm
Hello people!! long time no see
Well as i got chance to get on the net i thought id post some information about a deal Carole Nash are doing and the excelent service i got from them.
To reduce the insurance on my new toy I had to have an alarm system fitted by a thatcham improved installer.
This is where carole nash come in!!!!
In the deal, I had the brand new Data tool System 4 fitted, along with datatool datatag kit and a datatool battery optimiser for when its parked up waiting for the next dry day!!. All fitted at a time which suited me at my own house!!!
The installer was real carefull with everything and I cannot rate the work enough.
The whole thing only cost £249
If your after a security system on your toy there are a number of different packages they do.

Nice one SAM I had my alarm fitted by carol nash too, datatool system 3, bloke did a nice job and goes through everything with you afterwards of how to change the alarm tone and set up pass keys and shit.
Its a nice system, but if your doing any work on the bike, undo the alarm and disconnect the speaker otherwise you may go deaf

my datatool system 3 alarm + immob was also through carole nash, they are good and the bloke was really friendly, everything was smooth until i was near strencham just past bristol doing 80 going up to lincoln, then the bike cut out!!! er poo crossed my mind rather quickly, i got the bike started again and it done the same again a couple of mile down the road, i got it back home and steve leach (plymouth) had a look and the alarm went ballistic on him so he rang me up and i told him to take it off so my pride and joy is sat in my mates garage at the mo, but i have got to ring numbers and get it tested so if it is faulty then i can have a new one if not, there goes another £300 but its worth it in the end.

Useful post, as im looking to get some devices fitted to my bike, as it has nothing at the moment, so who is carole nash..?lol and where are they based etc...I know its worth getting the best stuff for your bike but i really dont want to spend much more lol...after buying myself a bike all the leathers and gear, my missus a car whilst paying for the liitle one and the mortgage.
Sorry but that just puts my budget into perspective.

hey ginge, carole nash is an insurance company and they do that deal for the datatool alarm, after buying it they will send someone out to your convience, so you can have it fitted at home or at your work as long as you provide cover for them, as they are not supposed to do it at the side of the road but he made an exception for me!!!! lol
and i can see about money problems......try spending £1300 on a poxy phone bill!!! that'll teach me for using it when abroad!!!
but do get an alarm and apart from mine going bust, the system 3 is rated as one of the very best, nearly everyone has one!
you get to key fobs, it also has a pin, different sirens etc!!!!
hope all goes well for ya and keep me posted
