Has anyone played on this yet, if you live in or near plymouth you can zoom right in to your house and if your really sad (like me :P ) you can set a route to a destination (i did it to my work)

My house is lat=50.3953420548, lon=-4.142322964

You can also find things like niagara falls, the eiffel tower, statue of liberty, ayers rock, etc

Great fun and educational (just not for spelling)
Download it from here http://www.google.co.uk/downloads/

How much have you had to drink?

It focuses automatically, but can only go so far, its diferent for diferent areas. Around Plymoth is quite good, I can see my car on the drive, but up round Minhead I can't even see mum's house. I don't know what its like where you are.

the quality of zoom is dependent on the area but you can sometimes see it better if you use the angle tool to give it that 3d effect.

Think the bits of it with the most detail are around airfields, dockyards etc. Where they have used satilite images.I wonder why
