You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

We getting out ??

Post by Red5 »

Howdy folks,

Been out for a few bimbles the last week or so and loving it.
Who else is getting out and about with social distancing where necessary?

Whilst I reckon it's not the tie to start putting up group big rides, I feel it's possible to get out with a few of us so long as we're deliberate in keeping distances when off the bike and stops are planned well allowing for distances etc. Plenty of fuel stations open just cafes and cake a little hard to come by.

Hope everybody's keeping well and sane and look forward to seeing you out there soon...

B-) :-bd
Don't care who you are, how much you have, how powerful you are. You still sit on the toilet with your pants around your ankles. Yep, it's a level playing field..

Done some big ones actually, 230 miles yesterday.

Fuel, drink & food is generally available at filling stations but their toilets are often closed. Public toilets are also mainly closed, though I think the main ones in Bude were open yesterday. Not much of an issue for us blokes but the ladies might have to get back in touch with nature, or don't drink.

Wendy and I have been out quite a bit. Tea and cake we can live without but the whole toilet thing proving to be problematic. Going out today and will incorporate a stop back at home probably. Seeing loads of smaller groups and a few larger ones. Traffic around local beauty spots is as bad as ever so careful as cars are parking on blind bends and generally being abandoned in the road. It's looking like another month before food outlets and therefore toilet facilities will be unlocked making it easier to plan routes.

Been out twice now on the borrowed Super Duke have done one trip up to Hatherleigh and the other up to Barnstaple. did have a quick stop and break before heading home but that was it.

Seemed very different riding by myself rather then in a group but have enjoyed it
