Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Post by MellowYellow »

I am doing a ride around the weirdities of Wiltshire. 2 refreshment stops plus fuel.

Start : Tesco, Callington Rd., BS4 5AY for an 09.00 LEAVE

Pick-up : McD's Trowbridge, Spitfire Retail Pk., BA14 0RQ for a 10.00 LEAVE.
Have you noticed that anyone going slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster is a maniac ?

The England match kicks off at 14.00 so I shall wait until afternoon as the roads are always quieter then.

Thanks for that, I thought it was the test, but that's in Birmingham.

I thought the hairdressers' season was over.

Shame that only 5 went.

Great ice-cream cake, chips etc.

Wasn't too long before someone tried to kill me...happily trundling along o'er the plains when we came across 3 cars coming in tother direction. Everybody doing 55 / 65. Soudainment, 3rd car pulls out and accelerates as hard as poss past the other two. I've nowhere to go, so drift left and frantically apply my wonderful new front brakes. Colleague behind managed to avoid ploughing into me and I missed a 120 mph head on by a few feet.

Was extremely 'ot as well.

bleddy hell Larry, glad to hear you survived, albeit with a few years lighter and dirty pair of pants heavier...
Don't care who you are, how much you have, how powerful you are. You still sit on the toilet with your pants around your ankles. Yep, it's a level playing field..

You're gonna have to start riding with a camera on the Bike.

I've got an imitation GoPro but have no idea what to do with the results. Can't upload, can't edit etc.

Gopro have their own software that does it for you. Free too.

Editing software is pretty easy to use if you follow the instructions.
