Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

COBWEB FRIENDLY RIDE '25 Saturday April 5th

Post by Red5 »

Here we are then boys and girls,

After a long wet winter it's time to blow away those cobwebs and get those steads out from under their winter blankets and out into the wild.
This is the SWB Cobweb ride 2025.

This is open to all, including anyone on L plates, any shape or size of bike or rider and pillions welcome.
It will be run as a 'friendly' ride, all speed limits obeyed (as they obviously always are) and will avoid motorways but also dual carriageways as much as possible.

Saturday April 5th

Meet at McDonalds, Westpark, Wellington TA21 9FH. Leaving at 0930 for a ride around some of our great routes and roads.
and return to the same place by 1600hrs. Looking to cover 85/100miles with plenty of cake and coffee and fuel stops to keep everybody rolling.

The group will be be kept together with a 'lead rider' and a 'tail end Charlie', the drop off system for directing at junctions. For those of you not familiar with this system, it's actually amazingly simple and effective. Will be explained on the day.

Exact route to be confirmed but will be suitable for all.

Come and join the fun, meet folks, share stories, tell some lies, make memories and adventure and get yourself in the mood for 2 wheeled fun for the season ahead.
