You will never have believed it...

Post by Jon B »

I have bought a new bike!!!

Pre registered (04 plate) Suzuki Bandit 600 K4. 0 Miles on the clock. In silver.

All for £3000 inc 33bhp Restriction kit. I'd call that a bargain!

Problem is, I can't ride it till... I am 17 and then pass me test. Oh well roll on May...

It is currently being held for me at some warehouse, I chose this over being delivered to my garage now or the battery would be run flat.

Anyway, I finished bike shopping 3 months before I am 17.

Pictures will be here when I finally have it delivered. :)

Teehee, it's all so unfair though, I have a gorgeous bike waiting for me, but can't ride it for at least 3 months. Oh well, look forward to my first rideout with you guys.

I hope you have ordered some twin chrome headlights?

You also a black helmet with the darkest visor. Oh and dont forget the loud exhuast too!

When you do get out of the road just be careful, 33BHP is still enough power to get into trouble.

Nice one! Now we can call you a biker and not some chicken-chaser rider

I like Bandit's, particually the unfaired models. That bandit was a bargain indeed. If you don't mind me asking, what dealer did it for that price? Lot of bike for the money. I always thought Bandit's were good deals at 3995!

Roll on your full-test.

Skez...I am in noway keeping that moped, not only is there any room, it is just horrid.

Chris...I got it from V&J Superbikes in Taunton, but the bike was actually at the Yeovil showroom. They really needed to get rid of the bike because it has been pre reg'd for about 6 months, so I have lost some warranty, plus the new Bandit 650 comes out in March.

A_T, My Dad would like to come along but he thinks he would be too old  he is only 48 ffs. :P

Oi ya cheeky munter :P

can't help it my mind travels faster than my body, it's allready 100yrs on the clocks and still going

Don't blame ya for not wanting to keep the scooter, get shot of it, those things should be made illegal anyway LOL

I think you done well though kid, still got over a yr's warrenty left, but bandits are bombproof, based on the 1992 GSXR750 WN engine, ya can't fault em good for 100'000 miles plus in a detuned bandit state!

One thing I would do though, even though it's more pennies, is get a decent set of tyres on there, as the ones on it when you get it are prolly shat and would grip less than my granny's ass (as yes thats important as your ass will end up like my grans if ya come off, shes been dead like 14 yrs now too!!!)

I donno what are the best tyres for a bandit though, I'd imagine BT010's are the best all rounders for great grip and good wet grip, but if you go though alot of miles per year, and find you changing the tyres twice per yr, then go for BT014's in the summer (Get even more grip, but they take longer to warm up in the wet) and BT010's the rest of the time.
