I've just bought a Mk7 scottoiler to fit on my gsxr1000, Where is the best place to fit the reservoir, and where do i tap into the vacuum feed on the engine.

Thanks

Simon

It's not one that goes behind the number plate then? Mines fitted under the pillion seat. There should be some kind of vacuum connector around the FI system, Never looked at one (I'm way to poor for a bike with new spangled things like that!) so couldnt say where. Haynes Manual?

This is the technical page for Scottoiler.com

Have a gander.

Did you buy the Mk 7 Touring or Universal kit ??? The touring kit is the large res which is designed to go under the back of the number plate, where as the universal is designed to go under the pillion seat.

The URL below shows the GSX-R set ups that can be done
