Time for a makeover

Post by RobG »

Well, I nearly sold the Hornet this week to get a TL1000R but my finance company had other ideas
Anyway, the Hornet is staying so may as well make the most of it (her?) Just ordered some Pirelli Diablos, new mirrors, a sexy Titanium twin outlet Blue Flame can, some LED lights and booked her in for a service and a new chain and sprocket set. Might alter the sprockets too for better lift off.
There, thats me skint for the rest of the year but i'll have a happy hornet.

Bugger, guess I won't have a fellow TL chum till next yr then  LOL

Make sure you keep the origionals that you take off... put em back on when you sell the bike on, and sell the nice bits your getting now seperate.

Blindingly obvious but it's amazing how many peeps for the sake of a wee bit of space in the back of the garage put their taken off bits on ebay, then when they sell the bike on are like "oh shat I wish I didn't doooo that" LOL

Blue Flame though, there like ?G500 or something stupid??? You just won the lottery m8? lol

LED lights cool way to go, I think for about ?G40 you can get direct swap replacements that screw into the origional mounts of the lights, again keep the blub + other bits ya take out so you can swap it back for when you sell her on :)

Anyway enjoy m8, when I bump into you ya can have a go on mine :D

PS: sorry I ain't called you yet, my sleeping pattern this week been a bit back to front, will do it next week :)
TL1000R rulz :D

Furry, you let me have a go on yours M8 and i'll probably never want to get back on mine again LOL.No worries about the phone call, whenever your ready. Blue Flames have come down in price. Ive gone for the EVO which is road legal, unless you remove the baffles.
I keep all the original bits coz I know when its P/X time, the dealers give even less for modified bikes, and like them original. Then again, all the extras can be sold later.
