Ride out 1st April

Look in here for local ride outs...

Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Ride out 1st April

Post by gudgeon pin »

Weather’s looking OK for this coming Sunday, will be leaving Launceston Square at 10:00am sharp.
Open to suggestion about route if you have any preference.

If the start time doesn’t suit, just mail this thread.

If you are at all concerned that you might become separated from the group, we will be regrouping before and after each leg or major junction change, but be assured that this will not be a ‘lets all ride in one long line and annoy the Sunday motorist style ride-out’.
If your not riding on the edge then your taking up too much room !

Will call into Sourton Down on route for bikes from either Exeter or Plymouth/Tavistock, opposite the Sourton Down petrol station there is a service area, will leave there at 10:30am.

http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi? ... imap.y=124

Route; Halwall Junction, Holsworthy, Stratton, Bude (for a few chips if you like), Kilkhampton, Clovelly Cross, Bideford, Great Torrington, (Exeter bikes can take the A3124 back to Winkleigh, Copplestone, Exeter), Great Torrington, Hatherleigh, and back to Sourton Down. (Plymouth bikes can return to Plymouth via Tavistock, Cornish bikes can return to Launceston via Lewdown)

God knows - it's only in need of new plugs (I hope) but one of the bolts on the fairing is rounded off and I need to take that off to change them :(

I know its a bit late, but had a great ride Sunday with Dan, unfortunately missed gudgeon pin & co at Sourton Down - as went into pub for coffee and didn't get out till 10:35 so must have just missed you.

Met up with Mervin at the beach carpark at Bude then nice blast back to Exeter via Crediton... 8)
