What is my clutch upto?

Just doing things to the bike to get it road legal after crashing its sat for best part of 6 months without being moved using the engine, got it running and everything back on and tightish (bar the mirror that came off and hit me at 60 haha) anyways i digress
When bike is started (in neutral) and then put into gear, bike straight away starts to pull away even with the clutch all the way in, i can move the lever in around 5/6 of the lever before i can feel any tension, but then even with the lever all the way in, its not letting the bike coast, its still creeping
Anyone got any suggestions please?
Sooner the better tis a bloody awesome day outside!
Cheers

just needs adjusting, i would of thought the info would be in the owners manual, or if its already at the end of adjustment then a new cable may be needed.
Should be easy to spot, where it meets the engine there will be and adjusmant point and at the handle bar end

Id say one of the following
Lever/cable adjustment
Old sticky oil needs changing
Clutch plates warped
Something else!

It's just a dragging clutch, it sounds like the cable needs adjusting, adjust it until you have 3mm of free play at the pivot, which equates to about 15mm at the ball end. If it's hydraulic then you may well have an airlock in there, which is likely if you've had the bike over on its side. Just bleed it up as you would bleed brakes up, just don't expect the lever to go hard like brakes or you be waiting a long time

If you reach the maximum adjustment on the cable screw adjusters and it is still dragging, then you may well need a new cable fitting.

If its been standing unused for six months its unlikely cable stretch, more stuck clutch plates, but I could be wrong.

It was sitting for that long, but also now i think about it when i crashed the right bar ended up coming back with enough force to dent the tank, so possiblity the clutch cable was pulled enough to be stretched?
Ive tried the adjuster at the lever and thats doing little to no difference, where is the other adjuster situated?

Failing the adjustment situ - have you replaced the clutch cover or had it removed? If so has the lift arm been put back in the wrong position?

Nah crash only went back to radiator really,
Well ive just put on the best it can be and now its almost completely out before it bites,
which means i can ride it, but i need a new cable i guess? and with it on this adjustment under hard acceleration its slipping for 2 seconds then just goes.?

If the cable is still slack, yet the clutch is slipping then it's time for new plates, whilst you pulling it apart fit new springs as well, they're not expensive.

Nah cables either too loose or too tight, dosnt seem to be much either way, like its too long :S
does it alot now, everytime i remotly accelerate hard slips for a good 2 seconds then pops the front up as it comes onto power.

I can push hard on the fork and it moves towards the front of the truck but it cant be push at all towards the back of the truck. Late last night I bled the line and got the pedal to work properly but it felt soft compared to before the problem. Also, I started it up this morning to see what would happen after replacing the master and slave cylinders.I put it in 1st gear pushed in the clutch pedal and turned the motor over.I let the clutch out and didn't move so I pushed the clutch in put it in 2nd gear and let the clutch out and it didn't move.
