this does relate to my other thread but more of an open question,
the relay i think it is, is the fuel pump but when i have typed the part number in off the relay that is on the bike it comes up as a XJ40 relay which isnt correct. the way the previous owner has connected this he has cut the block and put spade connectors on instead and im now unsure which way the wires go on the relay and the haynes wiring diagram shows me the wirs but not which place each goes,
does anyone have any suggestions?

It is possible the previous owner has replaced the proper relay with an XJ one? As for wiring maybe look up the XJ relay info and see if it makes any more sense, just a thought
