Heated Gloves
I'm looking to get some heated gloves (would rather these than grips) for the winter - anyone used them and can recommend what to go for please?

Re: Heated Gloves
Trouble with heated gloves is they have two main downfalls.
The battery heated ones have batteries in so add weight to hand/wrist area. Plus if you do come off and hit them they will bloody hurt.
If you go wired you have to remember to unplug on dismount.
Get oxford grips.

Re: Heated Gloves
Maplins do some reasonably priced stuff that is almost cheap enough to just "give a go" ...... gloves, vest, jackets, hats, socks ....... The Exeter store is down by Exe Bridges.

Re: Heated Gloves
A small pair of MX handguards will do a huge amount to keep the wind-chill of the front of your hands - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/UFO-UNIVERSAL ... 4151b70a6d" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

um....also, some silk inner gloves or windproof ones that hikers use (I got some) less bulky!
+1 on the handguards

Re: Heated Gloves
Looks like their site might be down for maintenance...
Can't advise on if they're any good as I've not got them.

Re: Heated Gloves
I use Keis gloves, absolutely brilliant. easy to use, touch button, three settings on the gloves. The only downside is unplugging, but that's only a minor thing, becomes no more hassle than remembering to do up your helmet after a few goes.
Don't have a web link but sure you can google them...

Don't care who you are, how much you have, how powerful you are. You still sit on the toilet with your pants around your ankles. Yep, it's a level playing field..

Re: Heated Gloves
After all that I've got some Oxford hot grips - seemed the simplest solution - hopefully can get them on before Sunday - I'm interested to see if they're hot enough for the heat to get through my gloves! Got fleecy leggings and windproof trousers, EDZ shell top, fleecy buff and new helmet (old one was a bit draughty) so hopefully I'll be toasty
