Saw it in person!
In the paddock Saturday evening just when a RG500 was wheeled out of the Classic Suzuki tent to be started up, only a couple of us there watching & listening, noticed another member of the public busy recording the sound of the RG on his i-phone - John McGuiness!!
Quite a few surreal moments, walking past the Ago merchandise stand and the bloke sat there chatting just happens to be Freddie Spencer.
Whitham getting on the back of a BSA Goldie for a lift to the airport.
Not to mention loads of other stars just milling around behind the TT grandstand: Ago, Read, McCallen, Cummins, Anstey, Plater, Costello (she's tiny), Parrish - plus loads more, really laid back event.

I was chatting with him at Osch in Germany 2 weekends ago, and he said he wants a MK5 or 6 to add to his personnel collection. Which currently stands at 39 bikes...graham22 wrote:Saw it in person!
