Crackpot idea i had carbon sticky wrap on end can
Has anyone tried this or klnow of anyone who has tried to wrap and end can with carbon effect sticky stuff . its just he end can on the old teapot i got is solid but has light rust on it and just thought it would be a way of covering it ,

I'd have thought it would melt? rub it down and paint it

Give it ago, if it starts to melt or bubble up peel it back off

I know someone who has done it to his monster exhausts,
Been fine for 6 months but make sure you get decent quality vinyl,
(3m is one of the best)

Try this lot www.pjengineering.co.uk . Proper carbon sleeve that you can drill and rivet without spending a fortune.
