Crackpot idea i had carbon sticky wrap on end can

Has anyone tried this or klnow of anyone who has tried to wrap and end can with carbon effect sticky stuff . its just he end can on the old teapot i got is solid but has light rust on it and just thought it would be a way of covering it ,

I'd have thought it would melt? rub it down and paint it :wink:

Give it ago, if it starts to melt or bubble up peel it back off :)):
Electronic's keeps the boys upright, the men keep it on the knee slider :)

Agree with Moose, reckon it will melt then be a bar steward to remove the sticky, melted mess!

I know someone who has done it to his monster exhausts,
Been fine for 6 months but make sure you get decent quality vinyl,
(3m is one of the best)

Try this lot www.pjengineering.co.uk . Proper carbon sleeve that you can drill and rivet without spending a fortune.
Looks like a pro job after as well

I used them when I repaired Rich's end can, it was £50 plus postage etc for the sleeve, about a year or more ago.
Cut me in half and I'v got Suzuki written right through me!
