It's true,
60 litres of diesel drained from a transit and nearly 10 litres water!
Van had trouble starting and major running problems,
Filled up else where after and problems solved,
Don't know if same for petrol,

I was under the impression (not from personal experience) that Morrison's, diesel and water went together.
Loads of reports over many years.
I never go in their places.

Hi,
From experience of working for Audi, most super market fuels aren't as clean as main petrol stations, we used to have petrol and diesel cars come in with issues, when we couldn't find fault with the mechanicals we would look at the fuel and have a sample tested, when ever it came back with contamination it would almost always be a customer that would fill up at a super market, usually Asda or Morrisons, We would normally ask for info on where they got thier fuel before testing, we never had any issues from Sainsbury's or Tesco though.
Makes you wonder if this is why their fuel is normally cheaper!!!

Cheaper cos they buy the dregs from the bottom of the storage tanks i reckon , also they buy thousands of litres at a time so get a discount and get 2 months credit so the money sits in their bank earning interest, where as a private garage has to pay up front before they get the fuel now and pay full whack , all explained to me by a guy that had just sold 2 service stations on a major dual carriageway a few years ago because he could not make money at it
