Sorry to hear of your plight. I hope you heal soon and that the bike is ok. Get back on a bike as soon as you can. Having driven through central London recently it was a poinient reminder that with car drivers in general the use of indicators has no relationship to when they actually turn or which d...

I have just renewed my insurance with carol nash, they sent through a quote for £165 which was more than double last years premium but after a little searching I found a quote for £100 rung them up and they matched it. very nice of them. :D

Re: Direct Access, would you support changes?

I gave up instructing when CBT came in even though I had shelled out the money to do the instructors course at Cardington because I didn't agree with the system. but have continued to help anyone interested in road craft and used to write a safty collum in a magazine, until it went under

You can wear a tinted visor but it has to be one with the british kite mark on it. Sunglasses can fog up too and you cant flip them up when it happens!

Re: nice weather

Beautiful Ride Sunday. Saturday night there had been a heavy snow fall accross mid-devon. In the sunshine most had melted by midday, but my G/f and I headed north from Tiverton towards Bampton and then took the Wivaliscomb road. From Bampton onwards it was spectacular, with more and more snow on the...

Re: Direct Access, would you support changes?

The whole CBT needs an overhaul. It is fo far from what it was originally intended to be the only way to sort it out would be to scrap the whole thing and start again with something based on the old 2 part test. I say this as one of th efirst to qualify as a CBT instructor and an instructor for the ...
