I personally wouldn't bother. If I have an accident I know it will be because I was taken out by a clown in a car and there would be nothing I could do about it as I already do every I can to compensate for them. I see loads of threads on bike forums where people crash on bike safe courses too. If y...

Plenty of threads on various forums about people binning their bikes on these courses which kind of makes me wonder... I've been riding on the road for 12 years and am still here for the time being (touch wood). I wouldn't consider going on these courses to be honest as I have my own ideas of what I...

Thats a tough break, I guess a small percentage of bikes have a fault and someone has to be the unlucky person to get one. Are they not giving you a 750 or 1000 as a courtesy bike? I would be expecting them to do that as a gesture of good will. Anything less than that would be a poor customer servic...

The black ones are in demands so you pay over the odds but if you want that colour fair enough. However Kawasaki direct were doing the green and silver ones for £5500 with 3 years 0% finance a month back. Not sure if they are still doing it now but I guarantee they will be going for that price again...

I think in this situation you have to weigh up your chances of making a successful claim, whether it would end up being a 50/50 and how much it would cost to fix it yourself. You then balance that up against the fact that the insurance co is gonna put your premiums up if you win and put them up even...

I was in a similar situation. I returned to biking after a 5 year lay off to find I had lost all of my full NCB due to not being insured for more than 3 years. I had an SV650 for 8 months, got bored and bought a ZX6R. When I rang Bennetts they wanted £700 to upgrade my insurance for the remaining 4 ...
