Best antivirus ?

Got a new laptop and want to download a free antivirus software for it. currently using ca on pc and avast is loaded on the laptop ( though out of date ). Not used the avast but found ca okay. Any recommendations ? Cheers :D

AVG from Grisoft - free, updates daily, etc., etc.,

We use Avast, and install on any pc/laptops Gav works on, never had any probs. Best person to ask is Gav tho

I use mcafee, never had a problem with it and a smooth running laptop despit it being 5 years old...need to put it on this one now...

I use AVG on five PC and lap tops, with no problems at all.

buy a Mac - no problems with viruses.

PC's slow down to almost stand still with anti virus software (and they are bad enough already) and having known a few hackers they have all said if they know how to do it, they will just get around the software should they choose to.

AVG here too.

Got it on 5 pc's in the office and on my pc and haven't had a problem in over 3 years.

And it's free without having to find a crack or keygen.
