To be fair, Ricky T took it back for me. Was painfull enough on the way back with just the tankbag.

Brilliant day, was really bricking it in the morning but thoroughly enjoyed the day.

and there was another one that me and julian where looking at (admiring) in the pits - not sure what group she was in but we sort of got momentarally mesmerised mid converstaion before we realised that we where actually staring at the poor woman and probably making her feel a bit uncomfy  . so we quickly stopped. Although as her van was quite close to K7 Dave's she was probably quite used to lecherous men leering at her [/quote]

If that was the girl on the blue cbr :P she was next door to us and the one who overtook Colin in the novice group  But apart from that we had a brill day my first time on the blade went well for a old bike, Met Scott and Blimey for the first time very nice chaps. And know Age i wont come in the fast group to be pestered by you and jase  Would have liked to see kelly out there im sure she would have kicked some ass. CANT WAIT TILL THE NEXT ONE

I had a wickied time, | really liked how fast and flowing pembrey was. Nice one to both Phil, especially despite recent events) and Nick. Glad they arranged the weather too.

In my defence...

I only crashed once at llandow, went onto the grass at pembrey and just slowed down on the concrete at llandow.

Kelly overtook me once after the chequered flag on the last session, she was my bitch the rest of the time!

I think dave gave me the best advice with Knee downs. It's the pads in my armour restricting my movement... honest.

My highlight had to be Julian and I having a drag race down the pembrey straight neck and neck, can't fit a ruler between us. There was no way I was going to try and out brake you! I'm not sure round the corner though, did you run a lil wide or showing off and taunting me?

I'm happy that I was faster than last year.

I have been cruelly accused of the crimes of others ...arron stole the bench and nat knicked the solar lights...I was an innocent party and played no part in it (I think, hard to remember as I was fair mullered  )

Blimey was the ultimate jessie when he somehow managed to sneak away when we where trying to convince him to help us polish off the remaining cans in the truck. This was a particularly cruel thing to do as it mean Nat had to drink more and he was "bloated" :)

on the bike llandow was way more fun than I thought it would be and I particularly enjoyed the last session with scotty (unfortunately the vid cam failed for that one).
oh cheers MATE stitch me up a kipper  as i recall you went off to "obtain" a plant pot only to be scared off by a caravaner

I had a great time, the only regret i have is not approaching Jason for some ontrack coaching in the Inters. That bloke was fecking flying around the track.

Total respect to all those in the Advanced, made some really good viewing and was interesting to see some of the differing lines into the bus stop (and some of the lines bypassing the bus stop as well!) :D Like everyone else i am amazed how Layne keeps up with the newer bikes

The Inters was a laugh except for me nearly choking on the fumes coming out of Mooseys cans, made the 1098 Ducati sound quiet

The Novice section were a real mixed bunch definately some chaps/ladies giving it some in that group in particular the bloke on the black ZXR 400 and the blue 600rr, you certainly had some cheers from our group with your late braking into the bus stop. Oh the bloke on the orange ZXR750 was alright as well

k7 dave, are you calling me a girl?? as i was the only one on a blue 600rr out there. maybe you just fancy me in my leathers  but if i do it for you i would be happy to wear a skirt and heels....and no knickers

she was riding a bike ( poss gixer 600? ) with red bull stickers and the number 50 on it, and she was quick 8)

Talking of women i don't think i have ever seen sooo many fit birds then there was at Pembrey. Not just riding but there supporting thier hubbies.

Lost count how many times i got caught in a daze gazing at them and there was that poor sexy fit young bird in the caravan opposite us who caught me dribbling and checking out her dangling breasts in the her little vest top when she kept bending over   :? :?  I fell in love sooo many times

Can't get the site of Nick and co's faces out my mind when the first Fast group went out and they flew past going into Honda bend   Funny as

Hope you didn't injure yourself mate ?? You racers are loons

Watched the MotoGP yesterday after the 2 trackdays we did and you just look at it in a different light. The forces and stresses they are under and you see the bike twiching and you just know they are fighting it like mad. Bleeding amazing stuff and mega mega fit.

What was your result at Cadwell ??

Well, what a top time was had by (nearly) all :D I was pleased to leave Llandow with the bike in the same shape as I brought it this time  and really enjoyed myself for more than ten minutes this year. My mate Jon really had a good time in the novices and was happy to pass on his newly-learnt savvy to Kelly in the afternoon. Our other mate (& colleague) Dean took heaps of photos which he'll no doubt post a link to on here somewhere, and he put his video camera on Jon's bike for a fair bit of both Llandow and Pembrey (obviously ol' ZZ Top didn't see it  ) It was good to see y'all again and meet some new faces too. Big shame that Jason's camera packed up during the final Llandow session - had I known you were there mate I'd have tried a bit harder! That would have made some really good footage... top dice mate, nice one 8)

We were really glad of a decent night's kip in the B&B on Friday night, though I can't say a great deal for the entertainment in Kidwelly - though the eye candy with the very fine assets behind the bar in the pub where we ate made up for the rest of the village 8)

Saturday at Pembrey was excellent - my first time there, and the same for a few other SWBs I think, top track, lovely and flowing - why don't BSB go there? It's a better track and facilities than both Mallory and Knockhill. I really enjoyed it, but there's still a point or two to brush up on - just how fast can the Esses be taken (the fast right after the loooooong left of Dibeni)? Shame that the right side of my rear slick was well past its best for the last two sessions, a big slide round Honda Curve was the warning, and the wear markers were gone on that side of it. I suppose if I were good enough I could have practised sliding it and leaving darkies behind, but that's fantasy land...

I'm glad that we all emerged safe and sound from Pembrey, have to do it all again next year :D Top work Phil for organising Llandow and the weather once again, hands up those who'll go for a B&B if they're doing a double-header next time?.

Oi! deej! What's wrong with my shorts?  Bodily fluids (no, not that sort  ) were being lost at an alarming rate on both days whilst on track, there didn't seem any point in sweating my nads off even more by sitting around in leathers between sessions, so I treated you to the lard.... If it makes you any happier, I wore different ones on Saturday, but no, it wasn't me in the background of that photo. How was the stag night?
See you all again soon I hope :D

yeh that was a real shame the cam gave up on that one, that end session dice was my favourite part of the day. It took me a good few laps chasing and then looking at the bus stop braking pass before I decided I could pull it off without collecting a free kawasaki :) then after that I kept getting glimpses of green in my peripheral vision....top stuff. I just knew you would go for the same thing back so tried to avoid the tight line in, bloody good fun arriving at the bus stop side by side. :) :)

whilst the camping was actually quite fun, for the second night I really could have done with a B&B. If I did it again I would definately go B&B on the second night.

pembrey Id agree on that right after the double left - you can see on my vid of it an instructor passes me there with absolute ease where Im plainly doing it to slow - (and I ran off the track trying to get the second part of the left hander a bit quicker in the second to last session :) ) I also struggled to get my head around the fast kink all day - particularly in the morning as it really is warp speed on a litre bike if you have the nerve.

best way is to take the second apex of the double left (paddock) really late, keeping you over to the left on exit, for the esses
only need to back off throttle a bit and drag the front brake to the apex of the esses and get on the power as soon as youve clipped the kerbing and off the brake, it will slingshot you out wide but sets u up for brooklands a treat!

oh and the fast kink (woodlands) can be taken flat out whilst just getting into 5th! (depending on gearing) best to chuck it in later rather than early there, else you will be on the grass.
