Well, what a top time was had by (nearly) all

I was pleased to leave Llandow with the bike in the same shape as I brought it this time

and really enjoyed myself for more than ten minutes this year. My mate Jon really had a good time in the novices and was happy to pass on his newly-learnt savvy to Kelly in the afternoon. Our other mate (& colleague) Dean took heaps of photos which he'll no doubt post a link to on here somewhere, and he put his video camera on Jon's bike for a fair bit of both Llandow and Pembrey (obviously ol' ZZ Top didn't see it

) It was good to see y'all again and meet some new faces too. Big shame that Jason's camera packed up during the final Llandow session - had I known you were there mate I'd have tried a bit harder!

That would have made some really good footage... top dice mate, nice one
We were really glad of a decent night's kip in the B&B on Friday night, though I can't say a great deal for the entertainment in Kidwelly - though the eye candy with the very fine assets behind the bar in the pub where we ate made up for the rest of the village
Saturday at Pembrey was excellent - my first time there, and the same for a few other SWBs I think, top track, lovely and flowing - why don't BSB go there? It's a better track and facilities than both Mallory and Knockhill. I really enjoyed it, but there's still a point or two to brush up on - just how fast can the Esses be taken (the fast right after the loooooong left of Dibeni)? Shame that the right side of my rear slick was well past its best for the last two sessions, a big slide round Honda Curve was the warning, and the wear markers were gone on that side of it. I suppose if I were good enough I could have practised sliding it and leaving darkies behind, but that's fantasy land...
I'm glad that we all emerged safe and sound from Pembrey, have to do it all again next year

Top work Phil for organising Llandow and the weather once again, hands up those who'll go for a B&B if they're doing a double-header next time?.
Oi! deej! What's wrong with my shorts?

Bodily fluids (no, not that sort

) were being lost at an alarming rate on both days whilst on track, there didn't seem any point in sweating my nads off even more by sitting around in leathers between sessions, so I treated you to the lard.... If it makes you any happier, I wore different ones on Saturday, but no, it wasn't me in the background of that photo. How was the stag night?
See you all again soon I hope
