A quote from someones first post.
Hi.

I'm Andy.

I have recently moved to Plymouth having lived in the London area since I was 18, 27 years ago (I'm from Exeter originally).

Up there I was on the bike all the time, commuting in the smoke daily and doing all the other riding about stuff we all do on sunny weekends.

I don't commute anymore, and ride only for pleasure now and need a portfolio of rides that I can do ranging from short blasts, to afternoon jaunts further afield.

BUT andy REAL bikers use their bikes ALL the time  Your nothing but a fair weather rider

Hoisted by one's own petard eh Andy?

Having just gone back over your posts you constantly refer to how long you've been riding... here's one instance...

Still didn't stop me riding.
And this...

Sorry if I and everyone else perceived that as you are a 'Riding God', but that's certainly how it came across.
......and again!!!

You said quite clearly there that you can introduce me to female riders who have been riding longer than me.

OK

You are on.

I do not know where you are, but please pm and we'll lay it on.

I'm deadly serious.

I'd love to meet them.

So I'll be getting a PM soon then - YES ? :D
Desperate to meet a female, but doesn't have the social skills to meet one on his own

Funny how the people who so hate assumption being made, are quite happy to do it themselves.

Also, some very selective quoting going on.

No where have I claimed to be a "real biker"

No where have I said I am a better rider than anyone.

Someone else did though

Funny how no one picked up on that one

Jesus christ mate your a knob ! Never have i known anyone come on the site and start mouthing off like you have !

Personally most of the female raiders on here are waaay better than me, have been riding waaay longer than me, and will carry on riding waaay longer than me !

What makes a biker - someone who enjoys it - both riding and the social scene of it. I think thats all it takes to become a biker really !

Now please piss off mate - your not going to ever get anything out of this forum as you will never be welcomed on any rideouts !

You will not be riding in three years from now.

I'm going to come back to this thread and prove it.

Now, let's see if you are intelligent enough to post without resorting to childish name calling.

After all, I could quite easily have done so, but chose not too.

I'm an adult you see :D

So please.

I say again.

Would all these long term riding females that evidently frequent this forum make yourselves known and prove me wrong ?

Thanks

Look forward to it :D

Why are you so insistent that long term lady riders have to make themselves known to you??

Seriously - I'm starting to believe that your main intention was to meet women through biking!!! You bang on about how women take up riding in order to get the attention of men, yet you keep on and on and on about wanting to meet women from here yourself.

You know what they say - we hate in others the things we most dislike in ourselves - ie, you hate women wanting to meet men through biking because that's what you do yourself (although women, not men, obviously!). Stop tarring female riders with your own brush.

And perhaps the reason that there aren't women on this site who have been riding for as long as you might be because they aren't as OLD as you!! Perhaps when they get to your great age, they too will have been riding for 27 years!!

The reason - Miss G, is that I keep hearing from certain quarters that there are plenty of long term female riders on this forum, which I think is Bullshit, and the fact you have to back peddle the way you just did there, just confirms it.

There are no long term female riders on this forum.

You are full of sh iiiiiiiiiiit

Nope, I think I said that there were lots of female riders on here who had been riding for more than three years - which was your original criteria. I've said that I knew a woman who had been riding for a long time, running a bike training centre, and was my bike instructor, etc. I don't know that I said I knew lots of long term - and by your def of long term - someone who's ridden longer than you - female riders on this site and I suspect you've confused my comments with those of others.

In any event, do you think that ANY woman on this site - long term rider or otherwise - would want to come face to face with you??? You seem like a complete nut-job - I don't think any of us would feel safe being anywhere near you. I shouldn't be at all surprised if you are known to the Police. You scare me!!

So, I'm not the one full of sh iiiiit, old man, you are!

I would have thought that the best way to resolve this would be if **this** was the last post to ever follow a post by andyals anywhere on this forum.

It certainly will be by me whatever happens.

What do you think I maybe known to the Police for.

That is a very serious accusation.

I haven't accused you of anything - I simply stated that I shouldn't be surprised if you were known to them. I didn't say you were known to them - which might very loosely be construed as an accusation - just that I shouldn't be surprised if you were... Not very bright of you to get something as simple as that wrong, now was it?!!
