there is still loads of evidence of the war in the formed of shelled out buildings and small villages left deserted, this pic was taken east of split fairly close to the bosnian border...I think the writing on the wall says something along the lines of "croatia is the centre" (stock pipes on the bikes to keep the noise levels down)
