As for number plates i always ride with a smaller one, i have a few different sizes. generally i use one of my 2 8x6's mentioned but i do have a letter box style 9x3 one aswell and as of yet i have not been stopped.
I'm pretty sure it was only a £30 fine before but has since changed to a fine (not 100% sure how much) and 3 points but dont quote me on it, but as i said... i have never had any trouble.

treated myself to a new model Honda CBRf. Had it a week now and starting to really love it. I did have a 6x4 plate which although looked good also looked really tiny and i think would have got attention.Have changed it for a 7x5 and although only an inch bigger each way doesn't look too small at all and so should be ok. I believe its now £60 but no points.
