I only met Frank once on a ride out and he came across as one of the most welcoming people you could ever meet.

A great loss,

RIP

I have a BT012 on the rear of my GSXR1000 and its looking like it'll need replacing by the time i get to 1500 miles! but although its costly it doesnt bother me too much as i cant fault the way the tyre performs, and at the end of the day my bike is really a toy to enjoy, not a everyday form of tran...

To say i'm a little angry would be an understatement! It was a perfectly clear and bright day, teh bike was shining away having just been polished. After it happenned, Tash phoned me and I drove straight home (quite quickly!) I parked my car in the same spot the woman had reversed from, I could clea...

try http://www.justoffbasetools.co.uk - or something like that it might have some hyphens in the url. Most of my tools are Sealey Professional range, but they were purchased ages ago when i had a well paid job (as a mechanic) no house. no mrs - so lots of expendable income! Halfords Professional ran...

Do you have proof it only had 200 miles when you put a deposit on it, if so - Id take it back and demand they refund you - based on the mileage thats been put on it. The paperwork you have for the ecu - as long as it doesnt say ecu restriction - ie describes payment for work done to restrict a stand...

Re: Anyone else have Nitrogen?

Alo because it doesn' expand like air when hot the tyre shape remains the same throughout. ( Cant ride well enough to test that one out although I do feel more confident, but that may not be the tyres) Thats not true, you cant change the laws of physics PV=nRT so pressure is directly proportional t...

Re: Small Number Plates

When it comes down to it guys its just vanity. Why change your rear plate, u'll never be looking at it so whats the point ive never looked at a bike and thought god that rear end is ugly due to the plate its usually the hideous factory mudgaurds that make me think that (ie the newer sv650s')? Maybe...

lol, oh yeah, I forgot about that. That extra 1BHP you get must be amazing. :P If we're going to be picky.. fitting a smaller plate will not add any power, but it will decrease drag and weight, and in effect increase accelleration (due to better power/weight ratio) and top speed (lower coeffecient ...

Actually if you want to be picky it does affect the performance quite a bit as it acts like a air brake, smaller plate = less drag = higher top speed :p

What size plate do you have on your bike,

Im after getting a smaller one for my GSXR - but i don't want it too small so that i end up getting VDR's all the time

Any pics?

Cheers
